Rory qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 1992 and following three years working in private practice in the UK set up a new practice at Main St., Swinford. He was conferred with a Master’s in Prosthodontics from King’s College London in 2005 after four years of advanced study in areas such as Crown and Bridgework, Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry. Rory is a former Director of the Irish Dental Association and has represented the Western Region on the Council of the Irish Dental Association. In 2009 Rory expanded the Practice by setting up the Tubbercurry Practice. The practices were rebranded into Western Dental to reflect practice growth which now provides comprehensive dental care to Counties Mayo,Sligo and Roscommon. Dr. Fleming has a strong commitment to continuing education and has attended both national and international dental conferences and is an active member of local study groups. Rory is married to Margaret who teaches locally and have four young children Shane, Laura, James and Michael to keep them busy! Rory is an avid sports fan and enjoys walking, keep fit and the Great Outdoors.

Cathy has qualifications in Business Studies from Sligo IT and has completed courses in computing, reception and cardiac first response. She is a an experienced receptionist and dental assistant. Cathy likes walking, meeting up with friends and everything to do with country life.

Vera qualified as a dental hygienist from University College Cork in 2002. Vera has a strong commitment to career development and attends courses regular to keep up to date. Vera joined the practice in 2009 and enjoys being part of such a wonderful team. Vera is registered with the Dental Council and is a member of the Irish Dental Hygienists Association. Vera enjoys walking and taking dance classes.

Niamh O’Grady

Niamh graduated from dentistry in Trinity College, Dublin.  Prior to this, she worked as a primary school teacher.  Niamh enjoys all aspects of dentistry, in particular oral surgery and children’s dentistry.  She attends various courses to keep up to date with the latest techniques and advances in dentistry.  In her spare time, she enjoys the great outdoors and playing Irish traditional music.

Kate graduated with a Bachelor Degree in International Relations Studies from the Poznan University of Humanities and Journalism specialising in Marketing and Public Relations in 2006 and also joined the practice the same year as a Dental Assistant and Receptionist. Katarzyna recently qualified as a dental nurse by passing the NEBDN Diploma in Dental Nursing UK. Her pastimes include keepfit, singing and socialising.
